Wits Business School Journal
The Wits Business School Journal has recently been awarded full membership to the Audit Bureau of Circulation. This membership now serves to confirm what we have know for the last six years of publishing the Journal, that it is one of the leading business publications in its sector. Its objective is to provide a communication tool worthy of the thought leadership it carries and the people behind the thinking. This represents an honours list of leaders and the Journal represents an attractive, unique and essential environment within which businesses could advertise their brand value, aligning themselves as thought leaders and positioning their brands alongside many of South Africa, indeed the world’s leading companies. Today the WBSJ is published in print and digital formats. In print, distribution now includes retail availability, selling out on each issue; an association with BidAir travel lounges, that enable the Wits Business School Journal to reach the 65,000 travellers passing through the lounges each month. All of this is in addition to the 12,500 alumni, who receive every issue. In digital format, the technology allows advertisers to reach a fast growing ‘virtual’ readership, providing them with the opportunity to express all their radio and TV advertising through the digital magazine, where appropriate. Observing how modern media platforms are delivering faster and deeper reach with greater accuracy into desired audiences, the Wits Business School Journal is excellently positioned to provide advertisers with a premium, qualified market place, with efficiency, accuracy and a world class finish. We have a powerful distribution channel through the Wits Business School to their graduates and associates, it is the positive retail sales in CNA and exclusive books that show the strength in our product. Although we are primarily distributed through the Business School’s database, the high demand for the small amount of retail copies is testament to the Journal’s quality. Having some of the best business to business figures on the ABC database should assist us in growing the Journal into a powerful tool for both advertising clients and readers alike. www.wbsjournal.co.za
