Hi Sean,
Try this on for size…
“For the last three years I have had the pleasure of working with Contact Media and in particular Sean Press. Formerly with Standard Bank and now as an independent marketing and communications consultant, I have certainly been impressed with the innovative and fresh approach to media and communications that is the hallmark of Sean and his team at Contact Media.
Sean is a remarkable entrepreneur, who understands that the real currency of the 21st century is relationship and dialogue. To this end I have seen and experienced the way in which he leads his team to value these two “commodities” above all else, and sure enough, the rest follows. It is good to know that while the team at Contact Media has ample skill, talent and drive they have built their business on a passion for people and what moves them; on striving for insight above superficial opinion; on embracing diversity and uniqueness as opposed to parochial sameness.
Thank you, Sean for your vision and passion. Good luck with all your fantastic publications.
I look forward to working with you in the future.”

Last year we were looking for a physical medium to get awareness of our brand and advertise. After look through a few options Dwain and Damien gave me ring and introduced me to contact media and their services. The services that were offered were presented clearly and logical.
Dwain even gave us some insight on where to have our page and what the vibe of the magazine is. The online options were also attractive as we our self’s work in the online environment. Once concluding our meeting Dwain followed up promptly and gave us the needed invoice and resent anything through that might have already been sent which made us happy.
Overall I would come back to Gtribe because of the services and attitude of the people.
Kind Regards

This is to confirm that Contact Media is one of the service providers contracted by the Johannesburg Social Housing Company (Joshco). The company provides communication solutions to Joshco which includes print material, magazines and signage in our projects. The service provided has been excellent, professional and delivered on time and Joshco is pleased with the performance of Contact Media.
We look forward to inviting Contact Media to tender for future projects based on their performance and delivery.

Hi Sean
I hope all is well with you and your family and that 2011 will be everything you hoped for and then some.
This is the easiest testimonial letter I've ever had to write. Dealing with Contact Media/Afropolitan, has been such a pleasure, nothing like any other experience I've had with any other publication. And there have been many! Bokang is an absolute star who is always polite and always ready to listen. Most importantly, he more than delivers on his promises. Infact, I did say to him that we could all take a leaf from your Client Service/Sales model.
Our dealing with the business as a whole have been an absolute pleasure, with professionalism shown all the way through to the DTP/Production people.
The quality of the publication is also superior, although I did say to Bokang that the content can get a bit too heavy sometimes. Perhaps some columns from female writers could lighten it up a bit?
That being said, I wish you and your team everything of the absolute best this year.
Best wishes

My first encounter with Contact Media was through Didi who persistently wanted Mazda to advertise and over the years I have learnt to admire and respect the publications you offer. They are targeted to the high end of the market with good content and attractive look and feel for coffee table reading.
The service is excellent I know at time I disappoint my contact but her professionalism and persistence really represents Contact Media well. As for Didi she is good as I mentioned she represent the group very well. Magazines are excellent for the high end which at times may not be in line with our plans, but I like the look and feel and the artiness.
Kind regards

Dear Sean,
Compliments of the New Year to you and the Contact Media Team! I am excited to be
starting off 2011 in the pages of the Afropolitan as a first time advertiser. As the first and only registered social franchise in South Africa, Sport For All has struggled to effectively communicate our brand offering and reach prospective franchisees and B-BBEE corporate funding decision-makers. But after an unsolicited presentation by Contact Media Account Executive, Refilwe Makenna, I was convinced that any one of your magazines could be a viable advertising vehicle but unfortunately the cost did not fit my budget.
Undaunted, the Contact Media Sales Team put together an offer to which I could not say,
’no.’ From start to finish, the team of professionals listened to our value proposition and
marketing goals and directed our spend to the right magazine for our target market.
The Afropolitan now forms a major part of the overall Sport For All Franchising marketing
strategy 2011 – to reach our goal of nationwide site development and exponential growth in B-BBEE Code 600 and 700 funding streams. I look forward to working with the Contact Media & Communications team throughout the coming year.

Since the first day Dwain contacted me in 2011, I received only prompt and immediate service and attention.
He supplied me with the information I requested, which was relevant to what I required; and not the overwhelming 'non-required' info that is sent to bombard a person's inbox. (that so many Account Executives do so well!)
He was on time for his meeting and well presented. Dwain answered my questions and I was glad that he only answered me with the relevant info and not useless pieces of information unrelevant to the current topic.
Dwain, you were a breath of fresh air, I know you are young and 'new' in the field but keep up the good work!
Thank you angus for your prompt reply.... I will look through all of this and get back to you with specific questions.... I was happily surprised when i read your Afropolitan magazine for the first time several days ago.... the articles were intelligent and informative and reminded me of Untold magazine in the UK, which was being run in the 90's... I see that big ticket automobile adverts seem to be the main stay of the corporate support, however i am sure that perfume, property and financial products will soon get on board....
The review sections was excellent and several of those publications in the book section was fantastic and i am sure when the publishers, film distributors understand your product they will also find ways to support the product.
The guys at our office had not seen the magazine, and I am sure neither have a number of our clients at the Panyaza space in rockville, namely frequented by black professionals.... Im going to read up and possibly come back to you in regards to how you might be able to plug into some of our communication channels in the future to raise awareness of your product. The latter will include high density communication to professionals around Soweto, using a variety of channels including POS, ambient, online, TV and radio...
I look forward to speaking to you soon....
thanks again...
